NEW – PC 90 Ambulance Model
The PC 90 is the newest Type III ambulance model to join the Medix family. It was designed to meet the ever-changing challenges EMS Providers face in their day-to-day job responsibilities, as well as the ever-changing economy and budget restraints faced by EMS Administrators. The Medix PC 90 incorporates the latest in ambulance safety standards and design. Focused on quality, safety, innovation, and value, it’s one Type III model that can meet all your EMS needs. The 150” module is long enough to accommodate the Stryker and Ferno cot systems; the 90″ wide box and 68″ of headroom provide ample work and storage space. The PC 90 is also a KKK/CAAS compliant certified ambulance.
Metro Express RP90ES Ambulance Model
The flagship vehicle of the Medix line up, the Metro Express RP90ES Type III ambulance is equipped with ample interior and exterior storage while providing a comfortable 68” of interior headroom and a 45” wide compartment aisle. The 90” wide module offers enough room to transport your patients while giving your crew plenty of working room. A very versatile vehicle, the Metro Express RP90ES is mostly used for bariatric transport, CCT, and many ALS uses. Lightweight and rugged, the Metro Express RP90ES Type III ambulance is easily adaptable from basic transport to bariatric and critical care, making it an excellent entry level modular ambulance.
Metro Express 150 Ambulance Model
Our full size Metro Express Type III ambulance is an excellent entry level modular body for the fire and EMS industry. With a generous 70” of head room, 46” of aisle space, and 148” of room from the bulkhead to the rear doors, it is designed to give you plenty of work room. The body can be configured for ALS, BLS, bariatric transport or basic transport, depending on your organization’s needs. Offered on both an E-350 Ford or G-3500 Chevy cutaway, the Metro Express 150 Type III ambulance is a robust modular structure with spacious interior and exterior storage.
Metro Express 166 Ambulance Model
The Medix Metro Express 166 Type III ambulance is a versatile, mid-level modular body for the fire and EMS industry. Crews operating on the Metro Express 166 will experience 72″ of spacious headroom, a 48” wide aisle, and 155” of room from the bulkhead to the rear doors. Requested mostly by hospital-based EMS and transportation or municipal and volunteer fire and EMS organizations, the Metro Express 166 offers multiple floor plans options to accommodate your requirements. With a static load tested to 50,000 PSI, the Metro Express 166 Type III ambulance is a dependable, robust modular structure designed to provide a safe environment for years.
Metro Express MN86 Sprinter Ambulance Model
The Medix Metro Express MN86 Type III ambulance was designed to provide comfort, convenience and the increased capacity of a modular unit at a competitive price. This ambulance offers many of the same benefits of the Metro Express RP90ES, but at a narrower width of 86″ for increased accessibility to narrow city streets. It also features a spacious interior with and excellent interior and exterior capability. From basic life support to bariatric transfer requirements, this unit can do it all. Add on to that a low center of gravity with excellent payload allowance and the best fuel economy in the industry, and the Sprinter Metro Express MN86 Type III ambulance is hard to beat.
MSV-II 170 Ambulance Model
Featured as the newest model design by Medix, the MSV-II 170 Type III ambulance can be used for practically any type of service application. Available on the Ford E-450 and the Chevy G-4500 cutaway, the Medix MSV-II 170 ambulance is most popular with hospital-based ALS, CCT, or MICU units; municipal or volunteer Fire crews; and EMS services running BLS or ALS services or rescue operations. Comfort and space are a given with 155” of room from bulkhead to the rear doors, 50” of aisle space, and 72” of headroom. With a static load test of 74,000+ lbs., the MSV-II 170 ambulance is designed to provide a safe environment for years of robust, dependable service.
