Pumpers – Commercial Chassis Options that Meet Pierce Standards

The Surprisingly Versatile Responder™

If you’re looking for a ton of flexibility in a commercial configuration, the Pierce Responder™ is a versatile pumper at an affordable price. The unit features a powerful 120 gpm pump rating, water capacities ranging from 750 to 1,250 gallons, and spacious compartments with optional EMS equipment storage. The Responder™ also includes full-height compartments on both sides, and a certified third seat available in the extended cab option.

Mini-Pumpers with Multiple Capabilities for Many Scenarios

The Pierce mini-pumper can tackle anything from initial response, to urban interface and rescue. This fire apparatus is available on a Ford F550 or GMC 5500 4-door chassis. Powered by a 300-385 horsepower turbo diesel engine, the all-wheel drive will help you power over rough terrain and snowy roads. Available with a 6-speed manual transmission or automatic transmission, the mini-pumper includes a 300-gallon poly tank. You can select your body features such as roll-up painted doors, roll-up doors and lap doors, a rear compartment, or a 12-foot Duo-Safety two-section ladder mounted above the passenger side compartment. For easy hose access, there are two crosslay beds and 15 feet of soft suction hose. All Pierce mini-pumpers include an NFPA lighting package and a combination of tri-light cluster tail lights with integrated back-up lights.

Commercial Tankers Shift into H20 Overdrive

Pierce tankers are available on most commercial chassis options. They can haul 1,800 to 4,000 gallons of water, and feature a low center of gravity and optimized weight distribution to help you get on scene quickly and safely. Available on single or tandem axles with 300 to 475 horsepower, you can choose from a variety of rear tank dumps, side/rear tank dumps, and rear tank fills. Commercial Rescues Offer Multipurpose Response

With 120 body configurations, body lengths from 10-18 feet, and a ton of storage, a Pierce Rescue offers tons of customization and plenty of room to carry gear to and from the scene. The body’s shock-absorbing rubber isolators provide a smooth ride. Breathing air systems, winches, tool boards, air bottle compartments, storage racks, gas, diesel, hydraulic and PTO generators, 15-30 amp receptacles, and electric 4-wire, 250-foot reels are available options that will inspire confidence in selecting the right rescue vehicle to suit your needs.
