Type 6 Skeeter

Type 6 apparatus are built for rapid response in off-road and wildland environments, where access, speed, and reliability are critical. Designed on commercial 4×4 chassis platforms, these units are engineered to navigate rugged terrain, tight access points, and remote areas while delivering the firefighting capability crews depend on. With a focus on mobility and durability, Skeeter’s all-terrain design, including available lift packages, heavy-duty suspension, and super-single tire configurations, allows departments to reach incidents faster and operate with confidence in challenging conditions.

Each Type 6 is fully customizable to match how your department operates, with multiple body styles, pump options, and water and foam configurations available. Typical builds include 100–400 gallon water tanks, auxiliary or PTO-driven pumps, and flexible compartment layouts to support wildland, quick attack, and urban interface response. Built with aluminum body construction, integrated lighting, and a focus on serviceability, Skeeter Type 6 apparatus deliver a durable, purpose-built solution that balances capability, versatility, and long-term value in a compact footprint.

Type 3 Skeeter

Type 3 apparatus are built to bridge the gap between wildland mobility and structural firefighting capability, delivering a versatile solution for departments operating in the urban interface. Designed on commercial chassis platforms, these units provide increased water capacity, extended pump performance, and enhanced storage while still maintaining the maneuverability needed for off-road and hard-to-reach environments. Whether responding to brush fires, structure protection, or extended attack operations, Type 3 units are engineered to perform across a wide range of incidents.

Each Type 3 can be configured to meet the specific demands of your response area, with larger water tanks, foam systems, and pump-and-roll capability to support sustained operations in the field. Body styles, compartment layouts, and equipment packages are fully customizable, allowing departments to balance firefighting capability with crew needs and terrain challenges. Built with durability, serviceability, and long-term performance in mind, Skeeter Type 3 apparatus deliver a dependable, purpose-built platform that supports both wildland and all-hazards response.
