Pumpers

Built Around the Way your Department Responds.

As the backbone of many fire department fleets, a pumper needs to perform reliably across a wide range of calls. Pierce pumpers combine proven engineering, flexible configurations and extensive customization options to help departments build an apparatus around the way they operate.

Available across multiple custom and commercial chassis platforms, Pierce pumpers can be configured to meet your department’s needs for pump capacity, water storage, hose storage, equipment space and overall apparatus design.

From initial planning and specification through delivery and ongoing service, the Ten-8 team works alongside your department to help build a pumper that’s ready to serve your community for years to come.

Pumper

The Pierce Traditional Pumper delivers proven performance in a familiar configuration, with the flexibility to build around your department’s specific operational needs.

With a traditional pumphouse design, departments can customize pump capacity, water and foam systems, compartmentation, hose storage and other key features to support the way their crews respond. Available across multiple Pierce chassis options, the Traditional Pumper combines dependable fire suppression capabilities with the durability and customization departments expect from Pierce.

Your Ten-8 team can help you evaluate chassis, configuration and equipment options to build an apparatus that works for your department today and for years to come.

PUC Pumper

The Pierce PUC™ (Pierce Ultimate Configuration) rethinks traditional apparatus design by eliminating the conventional pumphouse, allowing the truck to be built around your department’s needs—not around the pump.

By moving the pump forward beneath the cab, the PUC maximizes compartment space, allows for a shorter and more maneuverable wheelbase, and provides easier access to critical pump and plumbing components for service. With pump capacities up to 2,000 GPM, departments gain the firefighting performance they need while creating more usable space for equipment, hose and mission-specific storage.

Available across multiple Pierce apparatus configurations, the PUC gives departments greater flexibility to design an apparatus around how their crews operate.

Heavy Duty Rescue Pumper

The Pierce Heavy-Duty Rescue Pumper brings fire suppression and rescue capabilities together in one versatile apparatus, giving departments the performance they need with the storage capacity to carry mission-critical equipment.

Designed with large, full-height compartments and reinforced construction, the Heavy-Duty Rescue Pumper provides flexible storage for rescue tools, SCBA, medical equipment and other specialized gear without sacrificing firefighting capability. Configurable compartmentation and multiple apparatus options allow departments to organize equipment around the way their crews respond.

For departments looking to maximize both suppression capability and equipment storage, the Heavy-Duty Rescue Pumper provides the strength, flexibility and space to take on a wide range of calls.

High Flow Industrial Pumper

The Pierce High Flow Industrial Apparatus is engineered for large-scale industrial fire protection, where exceptional water and foam delivery, reliability and sustained performance are critical.

Designed for demanding industrial environments, this specialized apparatus combines high-flow capabilities with flexible inlet and discharge configurations, advanced flow monitoring and simplified pump controls to give crews the performance and control needed during complex incidents.

From refineries and chemical facilities to ports and other high-hazard operations, the Pierce High Flow Industrial Apparatus provides a purpose-built solution for operations requiring capabilities beyond those of a conventional pumper.

Mini Pumper

The Pierce Mini Pumper delivers firefighting capability in a compact, highly maneuverable package, making it a versatile option for departments that need performance without the size of a full-scale apparatus.

Built on a Ford F-550 Super Duty 4×4 chassis, the Mini Pumper offers flexible tank, pump and storage configurations to support a variety of response needs. Its smaller footprint helps crews navigate tight streets, rural roads and challenging access points while providing the equipment and suppression capabilities needed on scene.

With Pierce craftsmanship and customization in a nimble platform, the Mini Pumper is built to respond wherever the call takes you.

Responder

The Pierce Responder delivers dependable pumper performance in a flexible, value-driven commercial chassis configuration designed to meet a wide range of department needs.

Built on a Freightliner chassis, the Responder offers maneuverable wheelbase options, generous compartment space and multiple tank configurations, along with options for in-cab EMS storage and additional crew seating. Thoughtful hosebed access and equipment storage help crews work efficiently on scene.’

With practical configurations and proven Pierce construction, the Responder provides departments with a versatile apparatus without compromising the performance they depend on.
