SUMMARY: We are seeking an experienced Inside Sales Equipment Manager that thrives in providing quality customer service and solutions. The Inside Equipment Sales Supervisor will lead the team of sales representatives. Provide support to the VP of Equipment Sales in management of the customer experience for the Equipment Division by working with the inside sales representatives, performing analytical data review to improve efficiency, and maximizing profitability. Work will include transparent, timely and high-quality responses to all customer requests for equipment bids, quotes, sales, and delivery.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include but are not limited to the following. - Provide leadership, management, and support to the inside sales representatives.
- Establish and maintain current and potential customer relationships.
- ERP/Software
- Develop detailed processes and SOPs to include quotes, orders, and vendor purchase orders.
- Train inside reps on processes and ensure consistency among all sales reps.
- Update item pricing for Equipment vendors and keep software current as new pricing is released from vendors.
- Assist VP of Equipment Sales with monitoring of open sales orders, purchase orders and aging receivables.
- Perform evaluations for all inside sales representatives to include profit margins, efficiency, customer service skills and other related performance benchmarks.
- Stocking Orders
- Place stocking orders for both Florida and Georgia.
- Work with warehouse personnel for an organized and efficient layout in both Bradenton and Forsyth.
- Develop minimum quantities for stocked items and have the ERP send a weekly report on low inventory levels.
- Bids – Work with outside sales reps to prepare bids (online and hard copy) for a professional bid submission.
- Track and coordinate EQ contracts including terms and conditions, renewals, and price increases.
- Inventory
- Work with the Parts Leader and Warehouse employees to reconcile inventory cycle counts.
- Complete inventory and maintain accurate car stock for outside sales reps at least twice annually.
- Respond promptly to telephone, fax, e-mail, social media, and all other types of inquiries from customers, Ten-8 support staff, management and vendor partners.
- Identify and resolve customer concerns by working with OEM and Ten-8 colleagues.
- Maintain current knowledge of competitive products and pricing.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position supervises inside equipment sales representatives.
- Actively execute HR processes in cooperation with HR Department and the employee handbook.
- Ensure all direct reports are efficiently trained in all aspects of the job and facilitate continuous development programs that enhance all areas of responsibility.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to effectively and concisely present information in a one-on-one and small group situation to customers and other employees. Proficient verbal communication skills, in English, are required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- College Degree preferred.
- Three (3) to five (5) years of sales experience and Fire Service industry preferred.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to apply concepts of basic mathematics, and algebra.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out instructions in written and oral form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variances in standardized situations.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Must be able to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments.
