Ten8 Fire

April 8, 2020 Update

Greetings from Bradenton, Florida.

I want to provide a quick update on the status of Ten-8 operations throughout Florida and Georgia.

But first, on behalf of all of our employees here at Ten-8, let me say a big Thank You for all of you on the front lines in the fight against this virus. Your service and dedication is appreciated. Likewise, your leadership and professionalism is an encouragement to us all.

I am happy to report that all of our divisions at Ten-8 are operational and we are here to serve you. We are experiencing some impacts on our operations like commercial chassis delays, freight delays, and some product availability challenges. However, we are working diligently with all our vendor partners to minimize the impact and to get you what you need.

The continued impact of the pandemic on our vendor partners and supply chains is somewhat unpredictable. The continued operation of freight companies and staffing at some of the manufactures is a concern. We are encouraging all of our customers to evaluate their inventories and equipment needs for the next 90 to 120 days. Placing your stocking orders now can potentially avoid delivery issues should the impact of the pandemic continue into the summer months. Our equipment and parts sales teams are on standby to help you plan accordingly. Furthermore, our service centers are fully operational and have the capacity to assist with your maintenance and repair needs.

You will experience a few changes in our operations at service locations as we minimize the risk to our service technicians. Service staff will be verifying that apparatus and ambulances have been decontaminated prior to beginning work, and access to our service facilities will be restricted to Ten-8 employees only. We appreciate your support on these efforts as our ultimate goal is to stay operational as we support your delivery of emergency services to your community.

We look forward to supporting you as we work through the challenges of this pandemic. I pray that each of you and your family stay safe and healthy. Thank you for your continued partnership.

Sincerely,

March 19, 2020 Update

To our valued customers and vendor partners,

Ten-8’s motto is “In service to serve you.” Accordingly, we will strive to continue to serve you despite the challenging impact of COVID-19.

As a company focused on health and safety, we are taking precautions to protect the health and well-being of our Ten-8 family and our customers. We are adhering to guidelines from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention and taking the following actions to ensure we can serve you and to keep our team safe.

Service Centers

Our service centers will remain open, as long as possible, to ensure we can assist in reducing downtime and keeping your apparatus in service.

Travel

Routine factory inspection trips are a core part of our business, and we understand everyone has different restrictions due to the current situation. Accordingly, we are doing our best to accommodate inspections and travel on a case-by-case basis. Your sales representative will be contacting you with available options as the need arises.

Support Staff

Some of our staff members will be working from home. However, all divisions of our company are currently operational.

Part & Equipment Orders

Due to the ever-changing nature of this pandemic, we are encouraging customers to proactively place any part and equipment orders they may need in the near future. Shipping and vendor delays have started to impact supply chains.

Vendor Partnerships

We are working closely with our vendor partners to keep inventory in stock and work through challenges as they arise.

We are grateful for you, the first responders, who are keeping our communities healthy and for the opportunity to serve you. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to us. We trust that you all stay safe and healthy.

Sincerely,

B. Keith Chapman, President & CEO
